DESCRIPTION:The GNE is back\, and this is an open invitation for all servic
 e and social clubs to show their support for this 165 year old tradition! 
 September 23\, 24 and 25 at the GNE Fairgrounds This year\, all service/so
 cial clubs in the Collingwood\, Wasaga Beach\, Blue Mountains and surround
 ing areas are invited to work together to assist in providing GNE guests w
 ith access to the free parking onsite.  Volunteers will show guests where
  spots are located and how to access the parking lot shuttles to get to th
 e GNE gates.  Anyone volunteering will be provided with a safety vest and
  flashlight to use while working\, and can enjoy free access to the GNE. 
  Students needing volunteer hours can get the required certifications comp
 leted.  Ideally the minimum volunteer age is 18 years old although volunt
 eers age 14 – 17 can be matched with older volunteers. This is an opport
 unity for Service Clubs and Social Groups to raise awareness of their pres
 ence in the community\, and to showcase their spirit of appreciation for t
 his community\, and for the GNE specifically.  Volunteers are encouraged 
 to wear organizational insignia and can bring signage or banners if desire
 d. The GNE has graciously offered a stipend as a thank you for assisting w
 ith parking\, and the plan is to use funds to put on a local Service and S
 ocial Club Exhibition.  All organizations will be invited to participate 
 in this new community information event. Please invite your members and th
 eir friends and family members to sign up for this community effort.  Com
 e out and be part of this event\, and enjoy helping your community continu
 e this great exhibition.
