The RC of Collingwood South Georgian Bay was pleased to award Paul Harris Fellowships to community leaders Larry Law and Chris Dopp.

Chris Dopp, owner and President of the Mortgage Centre, spoke to us about his family background and how he was inspired by his generous father. He also described his ‘giveaways’ over 20 years and his vision for a future project. He started with donations of 25 hams, added potatoes and then full turkey dinners along with hats and mitts! This spring he tackled the pandemic by donating 100 care packages. In June more than 150 care packages were given to whomever was in need. One day he hopes to serve full meals-52 square meals a year and is seeking community groups to help with this initiative.
Chris is a worthy recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship!

Larry Law, CEO and President of Law Cranberry Resort Ltd., was a major sponsor of our Rotary4Kids fundraiser! Larry supports international projects in SE Asia and Africa. Locally, he is a faithful supporter of Georgian College, the Collingwood Library, Campbell House Hospice, our hospital, and the Institute of South Georgian Bay. This spring, he responded to a request to shelter homeless individuals during our current pandemic. Larry is a worthy recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship!

Members Sue Bragg and John Saul also received PH awards.
John Saul, John Stransky and Jeannine Faubert were also recognized as donors.
