School in the Philippines is free, but many children don’t have the required clothes, shoes and school supplies.  The original Back to School Program focused on registering and supplying the basic needs of children who had never attended school and providing at risk drop-outs with the clothing and supplies needed to stay in the public school system.

Back to School teams up with the Rotary Club of Mactan to provide the necessary basics to Primary School children on Mactan and Cordova.

Children whose reading skills have fallen behind due to the pandemic and/or malnutrition get extra reading time with volunteers at a Primary School in Cordova, a district of Mactan Island that is experiencing rapid growth.

Elementary Mobile Cart used for educating students in Barangays (villages or wards). Back To School is investigating a joint program with other Cebu area Rotary Clubs to build or fund the ongoing usage of these Carts. These mobile carts will bring teachers and the internet to learners in remote communities.
